Facelift is positioning itself for further growth and expanding its management board with two high-caliber additions to its management team. The leading provider of social media marketing management software has appointed Arne Kittler as Chief Product Officer (CPO), and Rasmus Grapentin as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

By filling these new positions, Facelift is ensuring its focus on the two important core areas of product and technology/development. Arne Kittler will be responsible for the entire product area. This includes product management, but also product operations and UI/UX. Rasmus Grapentin, as the new CTO, will be responsible for the appropriate technology and the area of software development.

The new appointments underscore the relevance of product innovation in the growth area of marketing technology at DuMont. Here, Facelift has been a growth driver for years and has been able to continuously expand its market position. "Facelift started more than ten years ago as one of the pioneers in SaaS platforms in the field of social media management, and today we are one of the leading providers of social media marketing technologies with more than 2,000 customers worldwide," explains Facelift CEO Daniel Oliver Augsten.

Arne Kittler joins Facelift from New Work SE, where he was vice president of product management of the XING network. Before that, the 48-year-old was consulting director at the digital creative agency Fork Unstable Media, where he looked after major FMCG brands such as NIVEA and Otto. Kittler has also hosted MTP Engage Hamburg, one of the largest European conferences for digital product management, for many years. Arne Kittler reports directly to Facelift CEO Daniel Oliver Augsten.

Rasmus Grapentin, 42, joins Facelift from chess24, part of the Play Magnus Group, where he was Chief Information Officer (CIO) responsible for the technical operations and development of the online platform. Prior to that, Grapentin, who holds a degree in media informatics (FH), worked as CTO and project & team lead of software engineering at Icans GmbH in Hamburg. Grapentin took his first professional steps as a software developer at Nokia gate5 and Infospace Hamburg. Rasmus Grapentin reports to Facelift COO Fabian Schmidt.

"If you want to grow in the digital world, you have to have a clear focus on the product, and the keyword is product led growth," explains Daniel Oliver Augsten. "The future decoupling of the areas of responsibility for product and technology is an important step for the further development of Facelift. With Arne, we have brought on board a long-standing expert on the topic of product development in a social media context, who will align Facelift Cloud even more closely with the needs of our customers and thus create a better user experience. Equally important for our growth is scalable and secure technology as well as the further expansion of the development department and efficient IT processes - a task that I see in the best hands with Rasmus."
