Getting started with facelift

Step 1. The technical stuff! 

Your account setup depends on your contract, the number of users you would like to have, whether you require Social Share accounts or have other such requirements. Naturally, this process can take a bit longer for enterprise customers than for simpler plans such as teams, but in all cases, it is quite fast. 

 

Basic facelift account setup procedures can usually be handled in a matter of minutes, which can stretch into a couple of hours for enterprise. We understand that new customers are always eager to get started, and that simpler platforms are sometimes automated, but we do this process by hand – so to speak – to ensure the highest level of quality and security and when it comes to making sure that your account is constructed properly. 

 

 

Step 2. Kickoff workshop 

We do what we can to ensure that facelift doesn't require a master's degree to operate successfully, and we want the experience of getting to know the product to be straightforward and expedient for all users. 

After your account is set up, our team begins your onboarding process with a kickoff workshop that focuses mostly on your company's facelift administrators. Here, we'll help determine what your goals and expectations are, and to demonstrate ourselves as your partners in social media success.  

 

The first workshop lasts about 30 minutes. 

 

But that's just the beginning! 

 

 

Step 3. Ongoing walkthroughs and workshops 

We know you didn't sign up for a product you can't just jump in and use, and we do everything we can to ensure your team can take full advantage of facelift as soon as possible. That's why our workshops are meant to be something you experience while you get started with facelift rather than purely as a prerequisite. 

 

Customers working with our Teams plan will receive self-onboarding. This process is meant to facilitate easy adoption of facelift and is ideal for those looking to explore the software and its capabilities at their own pace. 

 

Business and Enterprise customers will receive access to exclusive, high-quality, and custom-tailored onboarding sessions. 

 

Over the next 4-6 weeks, we'll provide you and your team members with more resources for success in the form of ongoing workshops. These sessions are intended for all users, rather than just your administrators, and focus on understanding how the product functions and how those functions could fit into your team's everyday workflow. 

 

The number of sessions varies depending on the size and complexity of your organization and its needs. Large operations with a high user count clearly necessitate more onboarding sessions. This is also true if we need to perform multilingual training events to support your international teams. 

 

The average organization only requires about 2 workshops, meaning the onboarding process is usually quite quick and simple. But no matter your needs, we will gladly meet the challenge! 

 

During this onboarding period, we'll address your questions via email and Intercom, a channel we find allows us to be highly responsive as you and your team acclimate to facelift. 

 

This serves as an opportunity for us to dig much deeper into your team's specific requirements and goals, and make sure that our training focuses on what you need to succeed. 

 

 

Step 4: Your customer success expert 

We couldn't claim to have top-notch service if we didn't maintain an ongoing relationship with our customers! After your onboarding phase, we pair your team with a dedicated customer success expert (CSE), who will be there every step of the way to ensure that you and your organization understand and are kept up to date on the product. 

 

Software is always evolving, and facelift is a strong example of this change. We release new features and updates throughout the year, and sometimes these changes are quite significant. When this happens, our CSEs get in touch with you to make sure you are aware. You'll see product updates directly within your user interface when logging in, as well! 

 

To keep you up to speed and to make sure that you continue to succeed in reaching your social media goals, your team is eligible for up to 4 hours of training workshops per month.
